A mere 60 km (37 miles) off Santiago in direction of the Andes, this unique, unrivaled place is located at a height of 3,025 meters (6,676 feet) amidst a spectacular landscape.
Valle Nevado’s history starts in 1987, when the dream of opening a new concept ski resort became a reality in Chile. A year later, in 1988, the Franco-Chilean project opened up under the name of Valle Nevado.
Inspired by a winter complex in the French Alps, the new resort is located in the central region of the Chilean mountain range, a unique place in the middle of the Andes that offers the perfect conditions for the practice of winter sports.
In this resort, you can practice ski, have fun or relax, and enjoy the spectacular landscape of the Andes. With an excellent quality snow, the surface suitable for skiing is of 31 km (19 miles), with 29 shared ski slopes, 3 of them for beginners and the longest being 3 km (2 miles) long.
There is a ravine for snowboarding, skiing and hang-gliding. There are also 12 cannons for making snow. It is the perfect place to enjoy with family or friends. After enjoying all day this beautiful place, we’ll go back to Santiago in the evening.
There is a service of vans and mini-buses (with driver) at your disposal that you can rent by the hour, for half a day or a full day. The passenger can always choose the destination and the route to follow.
